This last year encouraged so many of us to spend more time outside, working in the garden, walking in fields, being in nature and we want to make it the most comfortable experience for all. We have been working in wool and Scottish tweed for the last few years and celebrate its ability to keep you warm yet regulate to your perfect temperature, to keep you dry, to be hard wearing enough to last you a lifetime and, most of all, the fact that it is an endlessly renewable and sustainable resource that is spun into yarn and woven into cloth here in Scotland.
I am Zara, full time mother, former buyer, tv producer and cheese enthusiast who has lived in Somerset for the last twenty years. I love living and working outdoors and designing the right clothes for the job. I am also passionate about the environment and making sure that the clothes we wear, last a lifetime and do not cost the earth. We are proud to make in Britain – whether in a Scottish mill for our tweed, a small workshop in London for our waistcoat production and all our tailoring is made to order here in Frome, Somerset, to minimise waste and carbon footprint.
